What does this "lost" drone mean, in Dodon's version? A 52,4 kg thermobaric warhead with shrapnel effect. Sturza: "It's raining in Chisinau, Iv. Ceban announces"

Former Prime Minister Ion Sturza believes that Russian drones arriving on the territory of the Republic of Moldova cannot be treated as simple stray aircraft and warns of the danger they pose to the population. In a message published on his Facebook page, Ion Sturza expressed his indignation at the rhetoric of politicians who treat serious security incidents lightly. He directly targeted Igor Dodon, who previously categorized such aircraft as simple "stray" drones.

Sturza referred to the drone discovered in the outskirts of Chiștelnița village, Telenești district, which he states was equipped with a 52,4-kilogram thermobaric warhead, designed to cause destruction through pressure, temperature and shrapnel.

"We continue to have fun? What does this "stray" drone mean, in Dodon's version, detected in the outskirts of Chiștelnița village, Telenești district? A 52,4 kg thermobaric warhead with a shrapnel effect. Designed to kill and destroy through pressure, temperature and metal fragments. What would have happened if... God forbid! Does anyone have the illusion that the "outskirts" will save us for a long time?"

The former prime minister also drew attention to the importance of military specialists in defuse explosive devices. He invoked the experience of Moldovan sappers who participated in international missions, including in Iraq and Afghanistan, as an argument for the need to maintain and develop defense capabilities.

"Does anyone still believe that we don't need the army, at least for the simple reason that we need to defuse such "gifts" from Putin? Of these brave and very professional Moldovan sappers, with experience in international missions, including in Iraq and Afghanistan? Does anyone still have the illusion that everything boils down to a "mistake"? I see here a deliberate form of provocation, of inducing panic and fear."

At the end of the post, Sturza made an ironic reference to Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban, contrasting concerns about the country's security with the mayor's messages about the weather and water supply. "It's raining in Chisinau, Iv. Ceban announces. It's good, we'll have tap water! Is that all we want?"
