Tofan met with Zelenskyy in Kiev. They discussed airspace protection, infrastructure and energy security

Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tofan met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kiev. The two officials discussed strengthening cooperation between the two countries, including protecting airspace, developing transport infrastructure, and strengthening energy ties.
In a post, the Prime Minister announced that the discussions also focused on joint infrastructure projects to improve ties between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
"I met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv today. We discussed concrete projects to better connect our countries – bridges, roads and railways, but also stronger energy links.
We also talked about the joint management of water resources, especially the Dniester River, but also about new opportunities for companies from both countries. Another important topic was security, including cooperation to protect our airspace and the safety of citizens.
"Moldova and Ukraine want the same thing: peace, development and a secure and prosperous future for our citizens. We are moving forward, together, on the road to the European Union," said Vasile Tofan.
